Mr. Lavant is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Liknoss. He also manages financial strategy, and oversees financial functions, corporate development, mergers, acquisitions, integrations and investor relations of the North Star Group.
Mr. Lavant is committed to providing leadership and coordination in the business planning, accounting, forecasting needs and budgeting efforts of the group, while cooperating with external parties (advisors, banks, auditors etc.) for the business activities of the group.
Before being named CFO in 2018, Mr. Lavant was Chief Restructuring Officer at SingularLogic Group. In that capacity, he oversaw cost minimization, negotiation with banks on debt restructuring and the reorganization and streamline of the business activities. Prior to SingularLogic, he was Business Center Manager at Piraeus Bank. During this position he was managing a portfolio of over €400 million of medium size Greek companies.
Before Piraeus Bank, Mr. Lavant was Deputy Director of the Business Banking Division at Cyprus Popular Bank and responsible for Large Corporate and a network of 10 Business Centers located in the main cities of Greece, under which the Bank extended financing to large and medium size Greek companies.
He has also worked for Marfin Egnatia Bank as a Senior Account Officer and consecutively Area Manager of the Large Corporate Division and Account Officer at EFG Eurobank Ergasias following a position of Consultant at the Business Advisory Department of PWC Greece.
Mr. Lavant began his academic career studying Economics at the University of Piraeus and got a MSc in Business Economics by the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
